Quorum Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Quorum ("the app", "we", "us") is a Shopify application built by Quorum. This policy explains what data Quorum collects when a merchant installs it, and when that merchant's buyers submit a quote request, and what we do with it.

What we collect

From the merchant's store, via the Shopify API:

From your buyers, when they submit a quote request:

We do not collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or physical addresses. We do not use tracking pixels, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies anywhere in the app.

Why we collect it

Every field above exists to run the quote: identifying who is asking, showing the merchant enough information to price the request, and creating a draft order once it is approved. We do not use this data for marketing, profiling, or advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in a database we operate, transmitted exclusively over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. It is retained for as long as the app remains installed on the merchant's store.

Deletion

When a merchant uninstalls Quorum, Shopify notifies us and we erase all data tied to that store within 48 hours. If a buyer's customer record is redacted at their request (through Shopify or directly with the merchant), we remove the personal fields from their quote history while the merchant's own pricing records are kept as a business record, stripped of anything that identifies who asked.

To request a copy or deletion of your data directly, contact samurosu23@gmail.com.

Sharing

The only third party we share data with is Shopify itself, as required to create draft orders and read the product/cost data the merchant already has in their store. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
